Bout of Books 6.0: Goals & Updates

Bout of Books Read-a-Thon
It's my first time joining a read-a-thon!! I didn't think I would make it in time to sign up and post up my goals!

In case ya'll are curious, here is the blurb.

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 13th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 6.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. -From the Bout of Books 6.0 team

  1. Oooh, good luck! I've not read 'Something Borrowed' but I LOVED LOTR - I just managed to squeeze in 'The Hobbit' and 'Fellowship' before the first movie came out, and read the other two straight from there. I'm not QUITE ready for a LOTR reread I don't think, but I'm definitely tempted to read 'The Hobbit' again in 2013!

Good luck this week - I'm trying to finish Jane Eyre as my first Bout of Books task - and happy reading! :)

    1. Something Borrowed is a chick-lit, it's good if you're into those kind of books.
Still trying to finish the LOTR series! I finished the first book yeaaars ago! I relistened to the hobbit audio book! xD

Good Luck to you too! I read Jane Eyre for my book report back in high school! It's such a classic! It seems like everyone is reading Jane Eyre for this Bout of Books task!.

Have a great day! And thanks for stopping by! ^^

    2. I read a bit of everything, so I'll look out for it! I love Jane Eyre - it's one of my all-time favourites but I've not reread it for about ten years - so I picked it to start off the year on a good note. Bit of a hefty choice for a read-a-thon, perhaps, but I'm loving every minute of it!
      Hope you're enjoying Day 3! :)
