[Beauty] Maybelline Clear Smooth All in One Powder Review

Beauty Post y'all!! 

It's been so long since I did a beauty post! 

I recently (a couple of weeks ago) bought a new face powder, that I could easily just apply on and go, and that would help tame the oil on my semi-oily baby soft clean face. xD

I went into the drug store; Debenhams, and made my way towards the "cheap makeup" section. I asked the sales lady for a really good powder that I could apply on top of makeup and alone. She recommended the Maybelline Clear Smooth All in One powder. 

So i got it in the color 02 Nude Beige.

I wanted to try out this product for a couple of weeks so I can properly review it...in my own way of course. xD

The packaging very simple and portable. Instead of having the sponge usually on top of the powder, they've created its little own section on the side, right next to the powder. It has a lovely wide mirror that I usually tip to the side in hopes that I would see the full length of my face. 

The product apparently has SPF 25, I still haven't grasped the concept of SPF in powder yet. It provides semi-coverage. It can be worn with or without make up. I use it both ways. It's especially great when your face is having a good day and doesn't need that much coverage. I also apply this when I touch up on my makeup, the things have gone out of place during the day. 

Although, this product does make me break out a little bit. But repairs can be made of course. But if your skin is prone acne and breakouts, I don't recommend this. Otherwise, if you want a cheap powder that has some coverage, also if you want to be experimental, give this one a try. 

Maybellline  Clear Smooth All in One Powder only costs 3.500BD ($9.00) I'm assuming it can be found at any Maybelline branch around the world.

Color Club Nail Polish in the Color AN21 Twiggie.
I just had to get this color when I went to the salon store. Plus I wanted a new springy green color shade. 

Bourjois 123 Perfect Liquid Foundation in the color N53, beige clair light beige. 

I've always wanted to try out liquid foundations since my current powder foundation makes my face a little bit too dry. I spent about 30 minutes trying to find the perfect foundation for my skin type and color. There was not attendant lady to help me out so I basically had to do it all by myself; which I think gives me more freedom xD 

So far, I'm enjoying this foundation! 

 Bath & Body Works scented oils - Stress Relief, eucalyptus spearmint

I've burnt this oil so many times in the past month of may. (why did that sound so, anti-ecofriendly o.o) Since last month was what seems like my month of actual self discovery, I've grown accustomed to meditation and yoga onto my daily/weekly schedule, and this scent helps me get into the spiritual vibe for some reason.

I started listening to the Eat Pray Love audiobook and I am really enjoying it so far. It is a book that will really get you inspired to do more with your life, or if you're lost in life and have no idea where you're going, I think this will be a really great book for you. I won't say much since a review will be coming up in a few days soo yeahhh.. xD

[Beauty] H&M Nude Palette Review

Hey everyone!!

I've been wanting to add "Beauty" into my blog for quite a while now and what better way to do so than post about my recently bought beauty product! 

H&M's Nudes Eyeshadow!

I actually gasped when I saw that the Bahrain branch of H&M were selling their own brand of makeup and spent a while in the makeup section picking out which one I should buy. 

So I got the one with the champagne pigment in the middle. There is one with a blush pink sparkly color. 

I wanted a proper nude palette for my everyday use so I got it. 

It was BD 2.500 ($6.63) 

Size: 12cmx5cm

This palette has four colors to it. 

A slightly sparkly pale bright nude - Coral matte nude - Sparkly champagne - Matte dark nude - Slightly sparkly dark light brown

I've used it once so far, and I can say that it takes a few more coatings for the coral matte and pale nude to actually show. I didn't use primer so by a couple of hours, the eye shadow kind of just disappeared. It looked like I didn't put anything on. 

The last three shadows were more pigmented than the first two, which is great!

The palette is portable depending on how big your makeup bag is and if you'll be bringing a brush with you since this does not come with its own brush.

I wouldn't recommend buying this for those who want really pigmented shadows. But for those who are scared to use makeup and want to try it out, but not make a really big impression, go for it. Try it out. There is no harm in trying.

I'm looking forward to using this palette more in the future, since it has all the essential nude colors that one needs for an everyday makeup look.
